Do these sound familiar?
Migrating coworking software sounds like a nightmare. Will I have to handle all the data transfers by myself? What about the integrations? Will members need to update their payment methods? And what if I lose members during the switch?
We get it. Making a change can seem overwhelming, but it’s often the right move to improve your operations and give your members a better experience. If your current software is frustrating, missing features, or costing too much, it might be time to switch—especially since Archie can handle the migration for you.

👶🏻 How to make workspace + child care concepts work #
Frederick, MD based SHIFT Work + Play founder Megan Donovan shares how her personal struggle to balance work and childcare as a professional parent led to her successfully pairing coworking space with staffed, Montessori-inspired playroom sessions. Since opening in November 2022, the business has grown steadily, while offering additional services like parenting groups and professional workshops to support their community of working parents.
While not a new concept, it’s always great to find more operators who are finding success in pairing workspace with child care solutions. Due to additional regulations and requirements that come with providing child care, it can often be financially burdensome to flex workspace financial models and difficult to deliver. Dr Tammira Lucas also dove into the long-term impact of supporting local parents on the TWIC podcast this week.

📈 Gradual shift in workplace flexibility approaching tipping point #
Nick LiVignes‘s analysis of the market following the GWA Immersive event suggests that while the flexible office market continues to show steady growth, explosive adoption faces key barriers in landlord-operator relationships. The main challenge lies in convincing landlords and lenders that flex space adds substantial value to their assets, as traditional lease structures remain preferred for their security and revenue recognition.
A really great read that shows how this industry is facing continued opportunity, that even with some systemic challenges cannot seem to curtail continued growth.

🇬🇧 London flexible office use surges as workers return #
Recent data from Knight Frank reveals that 75% of London’s flexible office workers now come to the workspace at least four days weekly, contradicting expectations about post-pandemic work patterns. The surge in demand has led 90% of flexible office operators to expand their portfolios this year, while major companies like PwC and Amazon have implemented stricter return-to-office policies.
In response to the growing demand and scarcity of prime flexible office space, several major landlords including Helical, GPE, and Grosvenor are planning significant expansions of their flexible workspace offerings across London.

✈️ 72% anticipate boom in business travel volume in 2025 #
A new report from Skift and Navan, based on a survey of 1,484 industry professionals, indicates that 72% of travel managers anticipate increased business travel volume in 2025, despite only 18% of travelers consistently booking through approved platforms. The study highlights a growing disconnect between expense management solutions and user needs, with many finance managers lacking access to full automation for expense processing. The report also reveals significant adoption of NDC technology among companies, resulting in cost savings.
A major trend we’re witnessing is the collision between flex workspace booked by corporate real estate vs the flex workspace being booked via corporate travel or meetings departments. It’s important to understand that as an operator, you need to be listing with more than just independent aggregators, but also with solutions where travel is managed for corporations. Check out a recent TWIC podcast with Phil Kirschner to dive in deeper on "hyperlocal" business trips.
