Lauren Perrett, founder of BubbaDesk, shared some real life scenarios where their offering specifically allows them to adjust their schedule when real life happens. The space offers a subscription model where members can easily swap days, vary their weekly usage, share memberships with partners at no additional cost, and make accommodations for unexpected situations like child illness or travel.

BubbaDesk positions itself as a supportive environment that adapts to parents’ unpredictable schedules rather than imposing rigid childcare arrangements. We expect to see more and more offerings in the gap between workspace and childcare.

WOTSO FlexSpace and BubbaDesk have formed a partnership to bring the latter’s childcare-embedded workspaces into more of the latter’s spaces.

Lauren Perrett founded BubbaDesk two years ago, and has launched 4 spaces in NSW, Australia. Their 5th location will open in January within a WOTSO leased space in Neutral Bay, Sydney. Once that’s open, they plan to expand the partnership into Canberra, Newcastle and maybe western Sydney. Jessie Glew, CEO at WOTSO, is also a new mother, was inspired by Lauren’s concept and saw an opportunity for the companies to work together.
