๐ฐ German funding program helps reduce coworking rental fees #
Berlin-based coworking space, tuesday coworking, shared a great blog post outlining the benefits small business can reap from Germanyโs GRW funding program. This initiative covers up to 20% of rental costs for eligible small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in designated areas, including tuesday coworkingโs Berlin locations.
Germany isn’t the first country to roll out incentives or benefits for those seeking workspace. Over a decade ago, Milan’s government offered a similar program in the form of vouchers to help both businesses looking for space and operators looking for members. Do you know of any other programs like this? Let us know!

๐ Out of the fishbowl, and into the… neighborhood. Obvs. #
Sarah Travers from Workbar shares why she finds working from a coworking space with "neighborhoods" more productive, and private, than working from a space filled with "fishbowls" of private offices.
The term neighborhoods is one that’s been used a few times over the years, to classify how a space is split up by purpose vs membership or customers. In her example "Switchboard" neighborhood is open plan and people are welcome to make video calls when they need – flanked by a nearby bank of soundproof phone booths for added privacy when necessary; another is called the "Commons" where teams can meet and collaborate.
We’re curious, do you offer purpose-focussed areas in your space that members (or your team) can move fluidly between? If so, what are they?

๐ Could we see dynamic pricing for… listing fees!? #
Global proptech investor and advisor, Simon Baker, recapped a recent presentation by Property Finder (a homefinding platform) that addressed their use of dynamic pricing.
We’re seeing dynamic pricing modules and offerings across the coworking world, what differs here is that this listing platform changes THEIR listing prices based on demand, availability and related transaction volume.
This makes us wonder if we’ll see dynamic prices coming to coworking aggregators, not for the price of desks or offices, but for changing how much listings (or upgrading listings) will cost based on actual demand or utilization.

๐ค Where AI should def replace mass marketing tasks #
Eyal Lasker from Flexspace shares 4 ways AI could (if done right) effectively replace many of the mass marketing campaigns with automatically personalized and strategic messages.
I’m sure many coworking sales and marketing teams are waiting patiently for these kinds of power tools being added to their stack. But a warning is to make sure that none of your AI systems are running on data stuck in disconnected silos. Poor data in almost always equals 10x poorer outputs out.

๐ Top influencer signed to promote Indian coworking brand #
Ofis Square has announced they have signed Shraddha Kapoor, the 2nd most followed Indian influencer on Instagram, to be the face of their brand.
While we have seen experimentation with (micro)influencers by aggregators in the past, this may very well be the very first use of a mainstream influencer/celebrity to promote and market a flexible workspace brand. Will Shraddha go as viral as Nicole Kidman did for her AMC promo? We’ll have to wait and see.
