Olivier Vergnault shares how 47 members may be getting turfed out of their full, and profitable, coworking space – because the landlord will be converting the space into "serviced office facilities with a view to be rented out to larger corporates".

Yardi Kube‘s latest white paper focusing on coworking’s "suburban surge". In the paper, several industry experts share what they believe and see to be driving this trend.
We also see some interesting new data-points, namely that 15% of all office space enquiries that move through Yardi’s listing network are for coworking space (up from 6% in 2022). Turner Levison also highlights that the suburban coworking footprint has swelled by 9M sqft in just one year, while suburban demand has surged by 240%.

The big news this week was the formal announcement of a new affiliate partnership between WeWork and Vast Coworking Group. The Malin has opened its first luxury coworking location in Austin. It blends high-end design with personalized services like concierge staff and catered lunches. Members enjoy perks like executive assistants, meeting support, and access to beautifully designed workspaces.
The Malin’s first location, in Soho, is one of NYC’s most in-demand coworking spaces. They’ve most recently expanded to Nashville, so it’s a perfect fit for them to target this demographic in Austin. With day passes that start at $75 per day on some aggregators, the experience is quite similar to Soho House.

Fuse Flex Space, a new coworking and co-warehousing facility in Chandler, Arizona, offers a hybrid solution combining 8k sqft of private office space with 20k sqft of air-conditioned warehouse space. Coworking for warehousing/ecommerce is a growing flex segment, and we’ve seen a lot of movement this year. Another shift in the market also adding to the growth in the suburban flex market.
