Christoph Fahle of One Coworking analyzed 82,074 Google reviews across 1,351 European spaces and found each major brand leads on a different strength, from WeWork‘s location (99%) to Techspace‘s staff (100%). Spaces, Regus, Mindspace and Design Offices each scored highest on different aspects like connectivity, network reach, atmosphere and events.

The takeaway is to match needs like client meetings or quiet floors to the right operator rather than chasing a single winner. As someone with a pet peeve for ‘top coworking spaces in x’ lists, this hits home for me.

Christoph Fahle shared a new live data set from One Coworking exploring the medium prices across 158 flex spaces, across 7 of Berlin’s districts.

Averages were €35 p/day for day passes, €199 p/m for memberships, €299 p/m for fixed desks, €475 p/desk/m for small offices, and €35 p/hour for meeting rooms. What’s also interesting is seeing the distribution of the prices across the observed locations.

One Coworking has introduced a free reciprocity network for European indie operators. By opting in, your members get one free day pass at any other participating venue, and agree to host incoming guests in return.

I’m a fan of reciprocity across brands, but I do worry about step two of their setup process which includes uploading emails of the members to be enrolled in the program. So far 7 operators are participating, will you? Why or why not?
