The Flexi Group celebrated two significant achievements on March 1st: Common Ground‘s 8th anniversary and the opening of a new location for The Hive in Hong Kong.

Since launching in 2017, Common Ground has expanded across three countries, serving thousands of members from startups to Fortune 500 companies with occupancy reaching 95% within six months of opening their first location.

Simultaneously, The Hive is growing its Hong Kong presence with a new 30k square foot Causeway Bay location spread across six floors, marking their ninth space in the city and contributing to The Flexi Group’s network that now spans eight countries and eleven cities.

The HiVE in Vancouver has known a lot of change of late. Ralph Baddour was just at Coworking Canada and got to tell the story of how he went from coworking member to board member and ushered the space into its new existence — and space — supporting local non profits.

Samantha Wordsworth shares that the Hive (part of The Flexi Group) are expanding with a new location in the Po Hing Fong area of Hong Kong.

The expansion comes through a take over of a former WeWork location, which is a growing trend as office landlords look to fill some of the 500+ fully-built coworking spaces that are sitting empty with no operator.

The Flexi Group shared a first look at The Hive – the newest space to join their Australian portfolio in Melbourne, in partnership with Hirsch & Faigen.
