Connected Hubs is your one-stop shop for hubs throughout Ireland. Designed to simplify and standardize the process of sourcing and booking spaces, desks, offices, and events in hubs for a day, a week, a month, a year, or longer.

Connected Hubs is operated by The National Hub Network, a Government of Ireland initiative that provides a vehicle for individual hubs to come together under a shared identity to maximize the economic opportunity of remote working. Connected Hubs is managed by the Western Development Commission in conjunction with the Department of Rural and Community Development

🇬🇧 Local hub network signs exclusive deal with platform

Coworking and small business support company TownSq have entered an international partnership with a flex-space management software Baseworx. The deal brings the tech into TownSq’s Cowork Local offering, and makes it available to other UK workspaces.

Why am I sharing news about a space signing up with a management platform? It’s interesting that a network of town hubs has signed up to use the platform that powers the Irish government’s platform for local bookable spaces, ConnectedHubs.

🇮🇪 Skibbereen space contributed over €4M to local community

ConnectedHubs shares that The Ludgate Hub has enabled 350 jobs and contributed over €4M to the local economy since the 10k sqft coworking space opening in 2016.

Incase anyone’s counting that averages out to ~€667k and ~58 jobs per year, or €400/$429 per square foot in hyperlocal economic impact.
