Szilvia Filep from Coworking Hungary shares that Open Coworking Week will take place across Hungary from May 12-16, 2025, offering free trial days and significant discounts at participating coworking spaces in Budapest and other cities. Multiple locations are participating, including Create 26, HOM12, Impact Hub Budapest, and Liftoff coworking in the capital, plus several countryside options like Door Office (Szeged), Jungle Coworking (Szeged), DOTS Coworking (Eger), Katedra Coworking (Veszprém), and Forrás Community Office (Kecskemét).

The event aims to introduce newcomers to the professional office environment, community atmosphere, and inspirational aspects of coworking, with special activities like community lunches and office massages available at some locations.

In 2009, Kata Klementz and sister Panni were the first in Hungary and one of the first in Europe to set up a coworking space, called Loffice. One of their members, OXO Labs Ltd, is celebrating 10 years of being at the space and to celebrate that, recorded a discussion about their shared past and the role of coworking offices in the process of the transformation of the labour market.
