Ryan Anderson from MillerKnoll shares how a 60-year-old management theory can help rejuvinate offices, looking at MIT professor Douglas McGregor's concept of Theory X and Theory Y management.

In short orgs using Theory X believe that managers are there to ensure that work is done (ie employees are working), where those using Theory Y believe that managers are there to empower workers to achieve their goals. By reimagining office space for the latter, could we see changes in design and utilization?
