The National Restaurant Show shared a reel showing off some robots being tested in the food service industry.
While the comments sound off about the ethics of these food preparing, packing and delivering machines… I don’t think we’re far off from robot baristas (or bartenders) perfecting beverages on-demand and having them delivered to a desk or meeting room via another robot.
While not a good fit for most coworking spaces, I have already seen a few pilots in janitorial, logistics and food delivery areas.

The company deployed flexible "living for a time" arrangements featuring kitchenettes, espresso machines, fast Wi-Fi, and dedicated desk space in rooms and apartments. Several locations now include "Flex-Rooms," coffee service points, and dedicated coworking zones in cities like Graz and Lienz as part of a strategy to seamlessly combine accommodation and workspace.
Harry’s Home expanded its footprint in 2024 with new properties in Salzburg, Lienz, and Graz Smart City, and also operates Hotel Schwarzer Adler and ADLERS Lifestyle-Hotel in Innsbruck within its portfolio.
