Vast Coworking Group has been acquired by private equity firm New State Capital Partners as a Expand 👇 carve-out from United Franchise Group. This deal marks a strategic move by Vast co-founder and CEO Jason Anderson as demand for flexible workspace continues to rapidly evolve and grow.
At time of acquisition Vast – which is one of the world’s largest coworking networks and comprised of leading concepts Venture X, Office Evolution, and Intelligent Office – leverages a franchise model. It has over 200 locations and spans approx. 2.7 million square feet, serving roughly 70,000 members worldwide.

All three Vast Coworking franchise brands improved positions in the Franchise Times Top 400 ranking Expand 👇 for 2025. Office Evolution ranked 436 (up from 457 in 2024), Venture X reached 402 (up from 464 in 2024), and Intelligent Office entered the list at 489 as a new addition this year.
The rankings reflect growth momentum across the groups portfolio and demand for flexible workspaces (and entering the market) continues growing.
