📉 Larger coworking spaces closing faster than indies.
Upsuite have released an updated set of data around who (in their network) closed coworking locations during the pandemic.
Notable points were that larger brands closed more locations than indie operators; 83% of the closures were in urban centers; and most closures were in leased space.

📈 Demand for flex office space up by 21%
The Instant Group have reported that demand for flexible office space went up by 21% in the second half of 2020.
The article does note however that transaction size did decrease by 29% due to requests being for fewer desks and smaller spaces.

Tishman Speyer have announced 2 new locations for their coworking brand ‘Studio’, including one inside an ex-WeWork location.
