🧩 Community turns pieces into fundraiser

WOTSO Toowoomba members each decorated a piece of a large puzzle, which was then framed and auctioned at the 2026 Toowoomba LifeFlight Gala, selling for $450.

The gala overall raised $957,000 toward building the Clive Berghofer Visitor Experience and Education Centre, a new regional tourism and community hub. Amber Row, WOTSO’s Regional Manager Queensland, led the project as a way to build member connection while giving back locally.

🇦🇺 WOTSO’s newest location is 60km from Sydney CBD

WOTSO officially opened their Gregory Hills location. Now while their growth is impressive (this is their 8th location in Western Sydney, and 42nd overall), it’s the emphasis on where this location is that’s most interesting here.

It’s 60km (or 37ish miles) from the Sydney CBD, which according to Google is commute time of between 75 and 105+ minutes each way during peak hours. Thats driving or public transport. So Jessie Glew and the team are def leaning into their new Work Local mantra.
