Week 47, 2020

This week we share stories about gifting, measuring impact, WFH burnout, invisible economies and more.

🎁 Could this get more people to try coworking?

A simple ‘hack’ has helped a lot of people overcome the excuses they’d used to not try out new things like staying at boutique hotels, interesting excursions, new activities, group sports, gym classes and more.

This hack wasn’t anything ultra-geeky, but the simple introduction and clever marketing of gift cards.

Happy customers or thoughtful gift-givers buy access for friends, loved-ones and colleagues. This simple act has led to many people (myself included) experiencing new things, and becoming long-term customers of the industries they were ‘gifted access’ into.

#GiftWorkspace is a global coordinated campaign to begin normalizing the idea of ‘gifting workspace’ to people who want or could benefit from access to local spaces that inspire, refocus and recharge professionally.

You, your management platform, and favorite booking platforms are all invited to join in!
