There’s so much happening across the coworking world, that alot of interesting things get missed. 

We’re going to see if we can provide weekly summaries of the biggest updates, wins or rumours from across the sector.

🎙 Marcelo Moraga on the Coworking Values Podcast

Marcelo talks about how coworking grew in Chile, collaboration between spaces, and how the industry made a difference in their local economic ecosystem. 🎧 Listen in here.

⚙️ The ECA quietly launched cowork.tools

For months the European Coworking Assembly have been working on a suite of tools. The suite brings high-touch payment, compliance and anti money laundering (AML) tools to coworking spaces. 👉 cowork.tools

🎓 A coworking leader launched a microschool movement.

Jen Luby (of Dayhouse Coworking) is one of the parents who initiated a grassroots effort to run in-person microschools to supplement the e-learning curriculum in District 112. Talk about bringing coworking thinking to the school closure challenge. 👉 Learn more here.

Spaces in Atlanta (GA), Leduc County (Canada), Highland Park (IL) and Ontario (Canada) all reported welcoming new members.

Church Coworking & Child Care
Daryn (of Table Coworking) gave a great talk to members of the Atlanta Coworking Alliance re: solutions for coworking parents and then blogged about it.

And then there were two, in open source.
Jellyswitch announced that affective immediately their platform and mobile apps were open source and available for free. They join The Nadine Project as the only 2 open source platforms in coworking tech.

Outdoor coworking, coming to a park near you.
Tony Bacigalupo launched Camp Chair Cowork to coordinate (and help others coordinate) safe outdoor coworking sessions.

12 tech co’s shared 30s quarterly updates.
