TPG shares an overview of how Amex card holders can grab a 60-day complimentary trial of ONDA, which allows members to use coworking spaces and membership clubs in their network up to 3 times a year.

Given the economic activity generated by folks going into offices, we expect to see even more card providers looking for interesting ways to partner with flex workspace providers.

Kyle Hagerty shares a piece in propmodo about the challenges for landlords regarding setting up and running flex workspace offerings. It’s a great insight into the benefits of working alongside established and experience operators, even if it’s at a lower portion of the total revenue.

In this press release a team of former WeWork execs announce Daybase whose “new model for the hybrid workplace centers on building out a network of professional-grade, on-demand work spots, built close to home in neighborhoods and local communities across the country.”

📈 WeWork occupancy back at 53% with positive retention rate.

Not only is WeWork reporting that their occupancy rate is returning to pre-pandemic times, they’ve also reported that they’re signing up new members faster than existing members are leaving (ie having a positive retention rate %).

Given that these increases are attributed to external trends, a boost in their numbers can also indicate a bump in occupancy and retention of other local and global operators.

One of London’s early startup ecosystem hubs is closing as Google focusses on other ways they can support the regions startups. “Our work at Google for Startups has never been about the building, it’s always been about *what* we’re building.”
