CEO of Uniti, Franceso DeCamilli, shared an experiment we recently did testing OpenAI’s new Operator agent by requesting assistance in booking a meeting room near Grand Central station in New York City. The AI agent’s process and which sites it tried highlights how future search and website user experiences may need to be optimized for AI agents.

In short they’re expecting a shift from generalization to specialization, the rise of multimodal agents, agents that can use software (not just APIs), exponential improvements in reasoning, and that AI will have a role (or few) in every department.

He notes that the CEO of Yardi Systems, whose revenue topped $1.3B in 2023, often spends 80% of his time on coworking – a segment that only makes up 2% of the company’s current revenue.

This just goes to show how bullish he is on flex and why he believes in "space anywhere; flex everywhere".

Francesco De Camilli and Emre Altınok introduce Uniti AI, an automated system for qualifying inbound office requests before a human has to deal with them. Excited to watch how this system, and others like it, will wipe out more and more of the repetitive steps that go into closing flex space deals.
