In order to find the best cities for remote workers, CoworkingCafe researchers explored 11 key metrics grouped into four categories: remote work, economy, connectivity, and infrastructure. These included the share of remote workers, the availability of coworking spaces, the accessibility of broadband internet, income, entertainment options, and more.

They found that the remote work cities were evenly spread across the US, with Atlanta GA emerging as the best city. Seattle, WA took second place overall, ranking first for the adoption of remote work and scoring high for its proximity to airports. Arlington, VA rounded out the podium, boasting a robust economy and the lowest unemployment rate among the top 10 cities.

Nooka Space, who specialize in "tech-enabled Proximity Office Pods" have raised fresh funding and appointed Irina Leca as their new CEO. Currently operating in 10 countries, they note that they "bridge the gap" for real estate developers who are eager to maximize their returns by leasing underutilized spaces.

A big part of their expansion plans is to license out their proprietary internet of things (IoT) system that can "transforming any cubicle or physical space into a smart office or meeting room, which can be booked on-demand through the Nooka Space mobile app".
