The team at Spacebring have just released two new "helper" apps, for both Apple and Android devices. The first is Meeting Room Display, which is a color coded room screen to can help members quickly glance at which resources are available now or in the next hour – while also allowing for easy bookings. The second is a Reception App to facilitate guest experiences at the bottleneck that is the front-desk.

While there are a lot of standalone options for both apps, we are seeing a battle heating up for both areas of your space with new/revamped apps recently announced by OfficeRnd, Proximity and Nexudus.

You might know Nexudus as a coworking management platform, but they’ve recently rolled out a dynamic desk booking based on employees’ attendance signalling (ie if they are working from home for the day).

We continue to see more and more coworking space management platforms adding in and experimenting with a variety of features and functions to support hybrid work needs.

Of course, not every coworking or flex space needs that level of check. Most wouldn’t. But it is interesting to look at how far automations and integrations are reaching in our industry.

ICYMI: Platforms like Nexudus, Proximity and Optix have all recently shared updates on their visitor and reception-area tech.

Nexudus stepped up their floor plan game with a big update to their editor. Upgrades include customizing floor plans on screen, and being able to manage contracts, bookings and proposals from the floor plan view.

This better positions the platform to compete with both inventory management platforms and newer floor-plan-focussed platforms like Rayon, Bright Spaces, and Archilogic.
