Warren McGrath shares how Castleforge (a PR real estate investment firm) bought the Bromley Old Town Hall added coworking (Clockwise), a hotel (Brama Hotels) and an eatery (Dorothy and Marshall) during the restoration.

The building was built in 1907, had additions in 1939 and served as a hub for the local community till 2007. In 2009 it was added to Historic England’s Heritage at Risk register, which identifies sites that are most at risk of being lost as a result of neglect, decay or inappropriate development.

The Flexible Space Association hosted their 2023 Awards Gala, bestowing awards on a number of coworking and flex space brands.

Winners were: Huckletree Oxford Circuse (Workspace Design), Wizu Workspace, Sheffield (Service Innovation), NCG (Tech Innovation), DeskLodge (Environmental, Social & Governance Initiative). Clockwise Edinburgh Leith, Hope Park Workspaces, Nene Business Centre, Inigo Cheltenham and Clockwise Wood Green won regional awards for Excellence in Customer Service.
